Tretiaci v Maďarsku

V utorok 4. júna 2019 sa početná skupina tretiakov vydala objavovať pamiatky a krásy susedného Maďarska.
Hoci bola cesta dlhá, dostali sme sa k prvému cieľu - Ostrihomskej bazilike. Výhľady z kupoly, na ktorú viedlo 413 schodov, aj vnútorná výzdoba boli nádherné.
Naša cesta pokračovala do neďalekého Vyšehradu. Na tomto mieste boli podpísané všetky zmluvy V4. Svedčí o tom aj panoptikum.
Ďalej sme sa presunuli do mestečka Szentendre, kde nás čakala chutná večera a prechádzka uličkami mesta. Po ubytovaní na úžasne malých chyžkách v Budapešti sme na hodinku navštívili večerné centrum mesta.
V stredu ráno sme sa po raňajkách presunuli na Budatínsky hrad. Krátkou prechádzkou sme prešli ku kostolu sv. Mateja a Rybárskej bašte. Po strastiplnom a dlhom hľadaní autobusa v teple sme sa konečne dostavili na Citadelu symbolizujúcu mier aj silu Budapešti zároveň. Odtiaľ sme videli Budapešť v celej jej kráse.
Nasledoval rozchod na obed či kávu. Po ňom sme prišli do Domu teroru, múzea totalitných režimov.
Počas celej exkurzie nás sprevádzala skvelá sprievodkyňa, ktorej vďačíme za množstvo nových informácií. Do Tisovca sme sa vrátili vo večerných hodinách síce unavení, ale obohatení o nové poznatky a čas strávený s kamarátmi.

Third years in Hungary

On Tuesday 4th June, 2019, a numerous group of third years started a journey of discovering sights and beauties of neighboring country Hungary.
Even though the journey was long, we finally got to the first destination – Basilica in Esztergom. The views from the dome, where we had to climb 413 stairs, and the interior were both amazing.
Our journey continued to the near castle of Visegrad, where all V4 compacts were signed. The evidence of signing them could have been seen on the waxworks.
Next, we moved to the town of Szentendre, where a delicious dinner and a beautiful stroll in the town center were waiting for us. After accommodation in our teeny tiny rooms in Budapest, we headed to the city center in the evening.
On Wednesday morning, after we had had a breakfast, we went to see the Buda Castle. By a short walk we got to the Matthias church and Fishermen bastion. After long and troublesome waiting for our bus in the hot and humid weather, we finally got to the Citadel, which symbolizes peace and the strength of Budapest. We could have seen Budapest in all its beauty from there.
After that, we had some free time for lunch and coffee in the city center, following by the visit of the House of Terror, a museum of totalitarian regimes.
During our trip we had a great guide, to whom we are thankful for all the knowledge and information. We returned to Tisovec in early night hours. Although we were tired, we were thankful for all those new information and time we could have spent with our friends.
